Olive wood knife holder For Norwegian, please click :

The knife holders (knife racks) are made from solid Tunisian olive wood. As olive wood comes from nature, the individual pattern on each knife holder will vary. Olive wood is known for its beautiful texture.

I make the knife holders by hand, by sanding the wood, drilling holes, and glue magnets inside the wood. The magnets are very strong, so you can rest assured that your knives will stay in place safely.

The magnets are slightly lowered into the wood. Because of this your knives will only be in touch with wood, and not metal. This helps prevent scratches on your precious kitchen knives.

My knife holders are a perfect match for knives such as Global (pictured below), Kai Shun, Mac, or custom knives such as those made by Bob Kramer.

The knife holder is currently available in three sizes, 25, 35 and 50 cm( 10, 14 and 20 inches). When you choose the knife holder you desire, it may be wise to consider the length as well as the number of knives it is capable of storing. Choosing one of the larger sizes will show more of the beautiful olive wood, even when there are several knives on your knife holder.

The picture below shows the 25-cm (10 inches) edition. The knife holder is 6 cm (2.36 inches) tall.

The price is USD 299 including shipping using Express Mail anywhere in the world, or EUR 199 including shipping to Europe (due to lower shiping costs).
